The Norfolk-based animal rights group also wants Andrea Granthan to have a psychological evaluation and counseling. The Martinsburg woman was charged with animal cruelty earlier this month after what police characterized as a retaliatory killing stemming from a property dispute with a neighbor. Witnesses told police Grantham had brandished a knife during the dispute and then killed the bird, which the neighbor had given her."
